This Privacy Policy describes how ATcarely ("ATcarely," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the ATcarely mobile application (the "App") and our website at https://atcarely.com.
ATcarely helps family caregivers create reminders and tasks for loved ones, and helps care recipients view and complete those tasks. By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who Uses ATcarely
The App supports two roles:
- Caregiver — signs in with Google to create and manage a family reminder list.
- Care recipient / family member — joins with a family code to view and complete tasks. No Google account is required for this role.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Caregiver account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive basic account information from Google (such as your name, email address, and profile identifier) through our authentication provider.
- Family code — a code such as LOOP-XXXXXX used to connect caregivers and family members.
- Reminder and task data — task titles, schedules, repeat settings, timezone/location labels, completion status, and related metadata.
- Photo proof (optional) — if a caregiver requires photo proof, the care recipient may take or upload a photo. Photos are compressed and stored so the caregiver can verify task completion.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and app data — basic technical information needed to run the App, such as device type, operating system, app version, and crash/error logs if available.
- Local app storage — the App stores your family code and role on your device so you can stay signed in.
- Notification scheduling — if you allow notifications, the App schedules local reminders on your device based on task dates and times.
2.3 Permissions we may request
- Notifications — to remind care recipients about pending tasks.
- Camera — to take photo proof of completed tasks.
- Photos / media library — to choose an existing photo as proof.
- Internet access — to sync tasks and authenticate caregivers.
You can deny or revoke permissions in your device settings, but some features may not work without them.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the App;
- Authenticate caregivers and connect family members using a family code;
- Create, sync, display, and complete reminders and tasks;
- Schedule local notifications on a care recipient's device;
- Store and display optional photo proof for caregivers;
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems;
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. How Information Is Shared
We share information only in these situations:
- Within your family group — caregivers and family members linked by the same family code can see shared reminders, completion status, and photo proof associated with those tasks.
- Service providers — we use trusted third-party services to operate the App, including:
- Google — caregiver sign-in (Google OAuth); subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Supabase — authentication, database hosting, and data storage; subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.
- Expo / EAS — app build, delivery, and over-the-air updates where applicable; subject to Expo's policies.
- Legal requirements — if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers — if ATcarely is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Data Storage, Retention and Deletion
- Task and account data are stored on secure cloud infrastructure operated by our service providers (Supabase).
- Completed tasks and associated photo proof are automatically deleted after 30 days.
- Caregiver authentication data is retained while your account remains active or as needed to provide the service.
- Local data on your device remains until you log out, uninstall the App, or clear app storage.
You may delete your account and family data at any time by using Leave Family in the App or by emailing us at hello@aungheinhtet.com with your family code. We will delete your data within 30 days as described below, unless we must retain it for legal reasons. This includes your caregiver account, family group, tasks, and photo proof.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Anyone with your family code may be able to access your family's shared task list. Keep your family code private and share it only with people you trust.
7. Children's Privacy
ATcarely is a family care coordination tool and is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, contact us, and we will take steps to delete it.
8. International Users
ATcarely may be used in different countries. Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred internationally.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete certain information;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Request a copy of your data.
You can also:
- Log out or leave a family group in the App;
- Disable notifications, camera, or photo permissions in device settings;
- Uninstall the App to remove local device storage.
To request deletion of your account and all family data, email us at hello@aungheinhtet.com with your family code. We will delete your data within 30 days unless we must retain it for legal reasons.

10. Third-Party Links
The App may link to third-party websites or services (such as Google sign-in). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Please review their policies separately.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
